Suction Hose

The suction hose is a critical component used in dredging operations, designed to handle the abrasive materials being excavated from the bottom of water bodies such as rivers, lakes, harbors, and seas. These rubber hoses are specifically engineered to connect the dredger (or suction inlet) with the sediment disposal area, facilitating the transport of slurry— a mixture of water and solid materials like sand, silt, and gravel.

Discharge Hose

The discharge hose is designed to transport sediment and debris evacuated from the dredging site to the disposal or processing area. Unlike suction hoses, discharge rubber hoses manage the material pushed out by the dredger’s pump, working under positive pressure.

Flared Hose

The flared hose provided by Hansel Marine is suitable for sand mining operations with a water depth of more than 30 meters and a tower height of more than 30 meters. It has a large curvature, good performance, high rubber wear resistance, and a relatively long service life. They are economical and affordable for the mining field. The flared rubber hose is the same size as the steel flanged suction hose and straight suction hose, but the wall thickness has increased by 25-30%. The intensity has also increased by 20%. The working pressure of the flared hose is -0.08~2.5Mpa.
