— Floating hose FAQ
Questions before selecting a hose
Clarify the configuration before relying on a product name or reference size.
Is an armoured hose a separate pipeline category?
It is a variant within the floating hose range. State why an armoured construction is being considered and provide the material and operating requirements for review.
Can I apply one temperature range to all floating hoses?
No. The existing page lists different references for self-floating and armoured hoses. The temperature and other ratings need confirmation for the exact construction being supplied.
Does a listed diameter define the complete hose?
No. Length, construction, pressure requirements, end fittings and the floating arrangement also need to be specified.
Can the tapered arrangement replace an existing connection directly?
Do not assume a direct replacement from the product description alone. Provide the existing connection drawing and required movement so the complete A/B arrangement can be reviewed.
